Ryland Homes in North Carolina

Ryland Homes, established in 1967, was a prominent American homebuilder headquartered in Westlake Village, California. By 2015, it had become the fifth largest homebuilder in the United States, known for constructing over 294,000 homes across various communities. The company specialized in building homes tailored to customer preferences, offering customizable designs and high-quality finishes such as granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. In addition to home construction, Ryland provided financial services, including mortgage loans and title services, although it primarily focused on buying finished land lots rather than land development. In October 2015, Ryland Homes merged with Standard Pacific Homes to form CalAtlantic Homes, which was later acquired by Lennar in 2018, marking the end of Ryland as an independent brand.
